Well Claire is not shy to express her desire to walk around. She grabs hold of her little hippo and walks across the living room with ease. She decided the other day that she wanted to practice balancing and was able to stand for about 5 seconds on her own. She loves when you clap and cheer her on. Claire beams with a huge smile and starts to laugh.
Smile for the camera. She knows exactly what to do and giggles when I pull out the camera.
Claire turned 7 months on June 10th. I never got around to updating because we have been so busy running around. She was not feeling well because she had an ear infection but now she is doing much better, To make this short and sweet here are some of the things Claire is doing:
-goes crazy when she sees her bottle or a water bottle
-eating #3 food and love teething biscuits, spits out puffs so not ready for this yet
-sits and pulls herself to a stand on objects
-crawls around like crazy
-holds objects with one arm and stands
-stands unsupported for 5 seconds by herself
-uses walker to get around the house
-loves to chew on things
-babbles in her crib when she wakes up in the morning and stands in the crib
-we lowered the crib to the lowest level because of her standing
-sits on her knees and grabs things
-squirms when you hold her
Claire crawled into the bathroom and propped herself up on the toilet. She is quick now so we have to watch her like a hawk.
Claire decided to show us how she loves to stand up and now all she wants to do it crawl over to things, pull herself up and stand. Then she falls down and starts all over again. What a life.
Claire is always happy and smiling so it is hard not to keep taking tons of pictures. When she sees the camera she wants to crawl over and grab it.
Sean's friends Jake and Alec invited us to a tour of the police station on Sunday. It was so neat to see the holding cells, police car, and equipment. Sean did not want to stand and take a picture with the uniformed officer but he loved the police car and Todd was able to drive them around. Sean thought he was a real police officer with the light and sirens. 
Wow looks like Sean is on the male cheer team. Dad would not like that too much. Go Sean GO!
Sean has been in his glory as the weather heats up he is all about swimming in the pool. His newest request is to have someone throw him up in the air and he lands in the pool and swims to the top.

Here are a couple of pics of the kids together. This took like 30 minutes and we could not get them smiling at the same time. Claire wanted her binkie and Sean did not want to take pictures.

After we got back from Vegas Sean was so excited to get his pirate gear from Treasure Island. We missed our little cuties and it was tons of work to get back into the routine. Claire's ear infection made it difficult also. But what fun it was to relax at the pool and see the panoramic views from our room at the Wynn. Thanks Kailey and Grandma Mary for watching the kids.
We were playing in the living room and Claire has been crawling into the niche to get toys and pulling herself up on small objects but now this. I turned around and there Claire was standing at her activity table all by herself. She had pulled herself up so I ran to get the camera.
The next morning we went to get her from her crib and there she was standing in the crib so now we lowered the crib down. Where has time gone?
