Easter Playing at the Park

After dinner we took Sean down to the park and we had a great time hanging out snapping some great pictures. Kailey and Eric were awesome at running after Sean as he conquered the play equipment.
Sean's favorite thing to do was to jump up and down on the bridge. He had the biggest smile on his face and loved making tons of noise as he went crazy bouncing up and down.
I thought this was the cutest smiley picture during his play time.

Sean And His Easter Basket

Sean was checking out all the stuff in his Easter basket. Once he found the bubbles he wanted nothing to do with all of the other things. He had a Nemo themed basket with all his pool stuff and the Finding Nemo video.
One of his other baskets revolved around his favorite character, ELMO! He was able to wear his cute Elmo shirt on Easter.

Egg Hunt In Our Backyard

I guess the grass in the Easter basket had no purpose for little Sean. All he wanted to do was get into the bubbles that were in the basket.
Sean did not really know what to make of all the eggs. He became very frustrated when he could not open the egg and get the little goodies that were inside.
Sean was practicing his baseball skills by throwing the eggs as far as he could. He was a bit crabby during our egg hunt and took a nap right afterwards. He was more worried about going near the pool then collecting all of the eggs. He would go to the fence and say "pool, pool".

Sean's Easter Last Year

Here Sean is seven months old. He turned 20 months today.
I thought it was neat to see the difference a year makes.

Grandma and Grandpa's Easter

Well Grandma and Grandpa Saluzzo hit the spot with a huge chocolate Easter Bunny from See's Candies. Sean did not want to let go of this yummy chocolate bunny and when we took it home he figured out where we put the bunny. Then he jumped up and down in hysterics until we gave him more chocolate.
In order to get Sean ready for his trip to Disneyland, Grandma and Grandpa also got him one of the classic Disney movies Pinocchio for his Easter present. Here Sean is having a great time showing off his smiles when he saw the little Jimenee (spelling error I am sure) Cricket doll.
He loved the confetti in his Easter cup and was throwing it all over the place. Grandpa kept making funny faces so Sean would laugh at the camera. Sean loves to see his "papa" and "nana" and tries to show off in front of them when they come over. Usually he runs around like crazy and jumps up and down when they walk in.Elmo is Sean's favorite character right now. If we hear another shout for ELMO we will all go insane. Grandma picked him up an outfit with a cute Elmo shirt. Here they are walking to the park on Easter.

The Easter Bunny - Round 2

During Round 2 Sean was much happier with the Easter Bunny!

On April 11th we had two Easter Egg Hunts scheduled. It never rains here in Arizona but for some reason it decided to down pour loads of rain so they had to cancel the egg hunts. So we made our second attempt at the Easter Bunny. He was not as fancy as the first one but Sean was so thrilled to get some candies from the bunny that we were able to get several pictures with him smiling. Yes someone still had to hold him next to the bunny and be close by but Sean was laughing and pointing at the bunny's face during this event. We tried the mall bunny again but the wait was about one hour so this is it for bunny pictures.

The Easter Bunny - Round 1

Our first attempt at seeing the Easter Bunny was at the mall on April 5th. Sean loved to wave to the Easter Bunny and jumped with excitement from a distance. But as soon as he was up next and asked to sit with the Easter Bunny it was a whole different story. Sean refused to sit on the Easter Bunny's lap and we finally were able to get a picture with mom sitting next to him. As you can see Sean would not even crack a smile.

Easter Egg Coloring

We went to Aunt Ann's to color eggs with her and Kailey. It will be our annual Easter Egg coloring event. Sean is inspecting the eggs to see that all the die is looking good.
Sean wanted to see what would happen if he banged the eggs together. Needless to say we have a few cracked eggs from this experiment. He also noticed the egg was in the shape of a ball so he wanted to throw them.
At the end of our coloring, we let Sean try to peel an egg and eat it. Sean is not fond of hard boiled eggs and wanted the die and shell off his hands.

Rides at Freestone

We spent a few hours going on all the rides at Freestone Park. Dave took Sean on the carousel and Sean kept jumping on the horse thinking that it would move.
Then we went around on the train a couple of times. We saw the pond with the ducks and several people picnicking.
Sean went on the mini ferris wheel all by himself. He did great until the end when everyone was unloading. Next time we will have him off first.
Finally, one of Sean's favorite rides is the wave runners. He loves to go around but does not like to show a smile on this ride. He holds on tight and seems fairly content. I think he is still trying to figure out this ride.

Loves to Clean!

Sean will be the first to take the dust pan and pick up some dirt in the garage. He loves to run into the one car garage and get the broom. The funny thing is he knows the put the dirt he picks up into the garbage can.
Sean is helping clean up outside. So many leaves have been falling lately because of the wind storms we have been having. Talk about an action photo!
Check out my new sandals. I got these for when I get to go to the splash pad and in the pool this summer.
