Claire has been a little fussy lately and always wants to sit up. So my friend Susan let us borrow her Bumbo(thanks so much Susan) so she can look around. She is not a complete fan of it (Sean hated it so we took ours back) but she lasts about 5 minutes or so.
Claire loves to sleep in her car carrier. You can always get a great picture of her resting.
When the pool fence company gave us the key to the locks I never thought I would have to use it. I just put it away and now we got it out and locked the locks on the gate. As I was making dinner and Sean was running around in the backyard when he got this great idea. Since I always make sure I know where he is and can see right out the sliding doors to the backyard I almost could not believe my eyes. I ran to get these shots because sometimes you have to capture the moment even if it is a scary one.
Claire spent some time on her blanket when we went to the park on Wednesday the 17th. She looked so cute I thought this would go great with the St. Patrick's Day border.
Happy as can be hanging out in the sun on a wonderful day.
Sean loves to play at the park near our house. He enjoys getting chased, running down the hills, playing with chalk, digging in the sand, and running on the play equipment.
The newest and latest clothes battle includes the insistence to wear his Superman pajamas with the cap to bed and all day long. He jumps off the couch and tries to act like Superman.
When he is jumping he loves to say "To infinity and beyond" as he jumps. Since he loves Buzz Lightyear and he says that all the time he pretends to jump and shout the laser beams like Buzz. So we may be a little confused in our Superman costume.
I asked Sean to show me his cap.
Claire loves to be walked around in the bjorn and usually falls asleep in it. So I carefully place her down to finish her rest. 
Sean opened his Valentine gifts and was so excited to see that he got his very own camera and super hero underwear. He now can run around with Batman, Superman, and Flash all day long.

Claire is wearing her hat right before we went outside since it has been so sunny we are getting all of our summer gear out to use. 
Still trying to get a great picture of the two kids but he is the latest picture from a couple weeks ago.
Sean made his own Valentine heart cookies complete with homemade dough and a bunch of love. Of course all he wanted to do was to eat his cookies. He played with the cookie cutter like he would his play dough. He refused to wear his clothes and loves to run around the house in his underwear.
YUMMY! Licking the frosting is always a treat.
We have been to the zoo a couple times this month to enjoy the wonderful days. After looking at these picture it looks like Sean and dad dressed the same with their striped shirts. Sean brought his "binkies" and gave them to the monkeys but then when we got home he wanted to use one for his nap. Since I am not about to fight him with any sleeping problems right now we are continuing to use the binkies during naps and at night. We tried a couple ways to help him discontinue the use of them in a nice way but they did not work. I am not ready to lose the afternoon nap yet so binkies it is.
It is really depressing when I already have a pile of clothes that do not fit Claire anymore. This shows how our little girl is growing up so fast and the time is flying by. Claire is pretty much out of any of the shirts that a size 3 months or under because they are too short on her. I think we will have another tall family member here. Her sleepers have to be bigger than 6 months because he legs are too long for the ones under 6 months. She loves to smile at you when you say HI! to her and will start to eat her fingers. She tries to talk back to you by cooing and will keep smiling over and over. Tummy time is not a fun time for her and she usually cries in hysterics after about 5 minutes. We have been trying to do little intervals to keep her muscles going strong. Claire loves to drink about 4 ounces of her bottle and we finally have her bowel movements regulated. So things are going fairly well. She loves to sleep in the swing so that is getting some use since Sean only used it about 10 times. Every time Sean sees a picture of Claire he says, "That is my cutie!" He loves to hug her and help her out whenever he can. When he notices she is getting all the attention he needs to be held and starts to whine.
Claire's eyes are turning a bright shade of blue just like her brothers and her eyelashes are starting to grow out long. She is gaining a bunch of weight as you can see here in her little chunky hand.
Claire loves to sit up and look around at everything. If you lay her down for a second she starts to scream hysterically. She always wants to be held but has to sit up when she is held. She also loves to walk around in the bjorn but that can be taxing on your body after awhile so we also walk around holding her like a football so she can look around.
