Tummy Time

Claire is doing some tummy time and actually enjoying it with a bunch of noises and cooing as she stretches her neck upward.
She was looking all around the room with her little grin. She loves to smile if you talk in a low soft voice to her.
Too cute for words.

Batman Forever

Although this picture would tell you that Sean took this costume out of the bag and put it right on that was not the case. We had a little struggle getting the costume on but once it was on he refused to take it off for the entire evening.
Sean is posing doing his scary pose. The costume we ordered online was a little big but in the end it will be great for Halloween this year.
Batman is not used to taking pictures but this Batman "Dark Knight" looks like a natural.
Sean and Jake are eating at the Superhero Party thrown for Jake's brother Alec (he turned 5). Sean had a blast and did not want to leave all the toys and the bouncy house in the backyard. Too bad we are having such rainy weather because we could have played outside that night.
Pizza...YUM!

Claire

Sean loves to cuddle with Claire and likes to lay with her and give her tons of kisses. He is really helpful and will show her the toys and play with them in front of her.
Claire is more alert and awake as the month goes on. She prefers to lay on her back and coo. When she is on her back her hands and legs are moving constantly. She is getting much longer and is not fitting in some of her 3 month sleepers.
Claire is relaxing on her blanket.
Her newest feat is pulling her legs up to look like a seal. She was trying very hard to roll over here and was getting so frustrated that she could not get herself in the position she wanted. Tummy time is not her favorite time of the day and she is content for a small amount of time. She likes to spit up when she is on her stomach so we always have a burp cloth under her.

More At the Train Depot

Alec, Jake, and Sean went to the train backyard again to see 10 trains running at one time. They have an open house a couple times a year and we caught them on the right weekend. We had a great time and went for lunch at Chick-Fil-a afterwards.

Gigantic Train Depot

We ventured over to the owner of a Mexican restaurant in our area. He has the fourth largest train collection/track in his backyard in the country. He owns 4 acres and is developing a portion of it so that will be ready to view next Christmas. Over ten trains can be running around the tracks at one time. Sean loved the trains and was fascinated as they toured the entire backyard. There was even a RV garage filled with tones of trains on shelves. What a hobby! Everyone joked about what his wife must think about transforming their backyard into a train park. What ever happened to having a pool?
Sean is in the red shirt. He became a little fussy when he decided to touch a cactus and get prickers in his hand. Trains were not as much fun anymore.

Two Peas in a Pod

Sean asked if he could hold Claire and we ran and got the camera so we could get some pictures of the two of them together. We were trying to explain to Sean to kiss her head slowly so we could get the picture because he loves to kiss her head and retract quickly. I think he got the hang of it.

Easel Painting

Sean loves his new easel her got from Ann, Russ, Kailey, and Eric for Christmas. He had been making fun creations and loves to play with the magnetic letters. Here he is making his very own art masterpiece with his paints. Did anyone say Picasso??
