Happy Halloween!

Sean posing with our pumpkin outside of our house on Halloween Night!
Sean loved the Nerds and candy sticks. I think he ate at least 10 pieces of candy in the wagon and wanted to throw the wrappers over the side.
Even though Sean knew how to say trick or treat he refused to say it when he went up the doors. Instead he said that he would say "thank you" when he got his candy. He said thanks to everyone who gave him a candy. He had the largest grin on his face when he was eating the candy. When we got home he kept saying, "more candy"!

Dani and Zoey's Halloween Party

We had a blast during the afternoon on Halloween. Sean's friends - Danica and Zoey invited us over to celebrate with some of our friends. They had some balls to play with in the backyard and fun Halloween coloring activities.
Sean in his Donald Duck costume was totally adorable. Yes he is cute but next year we will definitely do an army man or firefighter. Everyone loves his costume but Sean will hurt me when he gets older and sees this costume that we made him dress in.

Pumpkin Carving

Here is Sean with our finished pumpkin ready to be put outside. Taking the gutts out of the pumpkin was "YUCKY" and Sean really wanted to wash his hands.
Scooping the seeds was much easier...especially if you are using the spoon.
Here we are drawing the face on the pumpkin before we get started.

Pumpkin Time

Here we are back at the pumpkin patch for a photo opt.

For the Love of Popcorn

We went to Freestone Park to ride the train which is one of Sean's obsessions right now. He loves the train and the carnival rides that they have. When we are driving down the street in the car he always knows where the train park is. Here Sean was checking out the ducks.
If you want to bribe Sean these days just tell him that you will give him some popcorn and he is in heaven. Sean finished the box to the last kernel.

Chandler Day of Play

Each year Chandler hosts a Day of Play to celebrate its status as a family friendly community that is boosted as one of the top in the country. Sean loves the barn play area at Tumbleweed Park which is made up of a huge play structure focusing on the barn theme.
Sean was able to drive the fire truck and see all the parts of the truck. They had the ladder stretched out high in the air and all Sean wanted to do was climb the ladder.
Sean was able to shoot baskets, play golf, ride tricycles, and shoot soccer goals during some of the activities that were available.

Pumpkin Patch

In mid-October we took Sean to the pumpkin patch. They have a hayride, small farm with goats, turkeys, and pigs, a maze with hay, and several pumpkin patches. The weather was unseasonably warm so we decided to hit the big pumpkin patch at a later time. Sean was able to decorate his own pumpkin with stickers.
The hay maze took Sean for a loop. He could not figure out how to get out of the maze and his dad had to go and rescue him.
Sitting with the pumpkins and picking out his pumpkin.
