Papa's 60th

My dad celebrated his 60th birthday and Sean was ready to celebrate his again so he blew out the candles. I think he is getting to the point that he thinks everyday is his birthday this month.
Sean was waiting patiently to blow out those candles. We had a great pasta dinner and Sean played with his new train set the entire time.

Sean's 3rd Birthday

Well as usually I did the pictures backwards so here is the grand finale with Sean blowing out the candles on his doughnut tower. We had to be original because everyone had enough cake in the last couple days. So I made him this tower to have fun on his birthday and he was so excited.
Claire loves to drink from a cup and play with the straw. When we were at McDonald's she picked up the glass by herself and was taking sips. She is not much for the sippy cup but loves a cup and when you put water in a straw and place it in her mouth.
Sean wanted to go to McDonald's (yes I know) for his birthday. We named a ton of places but he came up with this. We had other plans but Dave got a stomach flu and we had to put everything on hold. So here we are at McDonald's for Sean's birthday dinner. He had chicken nuggets, fries, and a smoothie.
Sean and grandma were sitting at the table looking through his happy meal. Sean wanted the Ironman toy but got a cool Spiderman one instead.

Couple More Peter Piper Picks

Sean having fun with his friends on the Merry-Go-Round. Dani (pictured) and Addi (behind Sean's head) are some of Sean's great playdate friends. He has known them since he was a couple months old.
Claire loves pulling at Nando's face and trying to get her fingers in his mouth. Kailey and Nando always have some great pics with Claire.
We took a quick picture before Sean's great grandmother left with the 4 generations. Claire was really tired and ready for bed and Sean was ready to start the night playing away.

Peter Piper Birthday

We had Sean's birthday at Peter Piper Pizza. We had to think of somewhere indoors because it is still in the 100's these days. So we decided to do the birthday with his friends on Thursday the 12th (one day before his birthday) so it would not be so crowded at the venue. Little did we know they were having another huge birthday but things worked out great and the kids loved the games and rides. Sean wanted this Cars cake so bad because he wanted the car and tow truck from the movie that they put on top of the cake.
Sean was playing skeeball but when you ask him what he wanted to do he always said, "I want to play the candy game." This is the little claw that gives you powdery candy and tootsie rolls. He also loved the Terminator game.
Sean opened all his presents with the help of his friends. He was so excited by all his new gifts and games. Thanks to everyone that made this such a special time for Sean and could come to his party.Jake and Sean were driving the cars at one of the games during his birthday.
Eating pizza and drinking juice during a pit stop the kids took to rest from all the game playing.
Sean was all over the place we could not keep up with him. Here he is playing another game.

Preschool Birthday Crown

Sean was so excited to have his birthday celebrated at preschool. He received a birthday crown that he did not want to take off all day (this is coming from a kid that never wears a hat). He even told his preschool teacher to be extra careful when she was putting on his backpack. I asked Sean what treat he wanted to bring for his friends and he said "rice krispie treats" so he was able to pass them out during snack time.

First Day of Preschool

Sean started preschool on the 10th of August at Lil' Einsteins. He goes to class on Tuesday and Thursday for a couple hours. He loves to go and make new art projects each class. We make a huge deal of him going and getting his backpack to go to preschool. So far he is running in and having a great time.
At the table during the first day at preschool. He is in the Safari Room which is themed with animals. He loves the kitchen and the cash register in the play area. On the first day of school he was able to share a bag filled with 4 things about himself. He brought Toy Story 2 (his favorite movie), a car that he loves to play with, a Toy Story gummy snack wrapper (he loves to eat these), and a picture of his family. He read "The Kissing Hand" and made us a hand print plus a picture of himself.
Sean was getting his backpack on for a fun day at preschool. It is so hard to believe that our little baby is not here while he is at preschool. He loves to tell us about his day on the car ride home. I ask him so many questions he starts to roll his eyes at me.
