Preschool Practice

Jake and Sean are waiting to go into their preschool class.
We enrolled Sean in a one hour a week preschool class to get him ready for his class in the fall. He has attended two times and we always have a million stories to share. Sometimes Sean can be the most difficult little boy. What ever happened to conforming to the norm? On the first day of class he cried a little bit because he wanted his mom. We boasted about preschool the entire week and even bribed him with a present for being such a big boy.
Then we headed off to the class on the second week and Sean decided to scream at the top of his lungs because he saw another student's mother peaking in the class and wanted to go home. He proceeded to run out of the class and they had to call me to come back to the class. I had to sit in the back of the class until it was over because he would not stay in the class. I am glad we are doing this trial run now before his class starts in the fall. The funny thing is I mentioned this to my mom and she said I did the same thing when I was his age. I think Sean is getting back at me!!
We took several pictures of him with his backpack getting ready to go to preschool.

Baby Blue Eyes

Who can resist a little bit of Claire action during tummy time. She loves to drool because we think she is starting to do the whole teething thing..FUN! She still does not last very long on her tummy and gets really fussy when you pick her up afterwards but in the short time we get some great shots.

Chilling Out

Claire has been a little fussy lately and always wants to sit up. So my friend Susan let us borrow her Bumbo(thanks so much Susan) so she can look around. She is not a complete fan of it (Sean hated it so we took ours back) but she lasts about 5 minutes or so.
Claire loves to sleep in her car carrier. You can always get a great picture of her resting.

BUSTED!

When the pool fence company gave us the key to the locks I never thought I would have to use it. I just put it away and now we got it out and locked the locks on the gate. As I was making dinner and Sean was running around in the backyard when he got this great idea. Since I always make sure I know where he is and can see right out the sliding doors to the backyard I almost could not believe my eyes. I ran to get these shots because sometimes you have to capture the moment even if it is a scary one.

Beautiful Day

Claire spent some time on her blanket when we went to the park on Wednesday the 17th. She looked so cute I thought this would go great with the St. Patrick's Day border.
Happy as can be hanging out in the sun on a wonderful day.
Sean loves to play at the park near our house. He enjoys getting chased, running down the hills, playing with chalk, digging in the sand, and running on the play equipment.

Super Sean

The newest and latest clothes battle includes the insistence to wear his Superman pajamas with the cap to bed and all day long. He jumps off the couch and tries to act like Superman.
When he is jumping he loves to say "To infinity and beyond" as he jumps. Since he loves Buzz Lightyear and he says that all the time he pretends to jump and shout the laser beams like Buzz. So we may be a little confused in our Superman costume.
I asked Sean to show me his cap.

Play and Sleep

Claire loves to be walked around in the bjorn and usually falls asleep in it. So I carefully place her down to finish her rest.

Sean is playing with his pirate ship he got for Christmas. He loves to sing the pirate song from the Pirates of the Caribbean as he plays with his little figurines.
