Go Horsey Go!

Sean loves his rocking horse and has been trying to jump up on it himself. Today he actually got up there and started to rock by himself. He loves to push the horse's ears because they make a galloping and neighing sound. Sean has a great time petting the horse and giving him kisses.

Mom and Grandpa's Birthday

Although it took me a long time to put this on. Here are some pictures from the birthday party we had at the beginning of September to celebrate our birthdays. Sean loves eating the cake. He had so much practice from his own birthday, he was a pro. He dug right into the cake and loved eating manicotti for dinner.

Day at the Splash Pad

Sean had a great time getting wet at the splash pad that is right down the street from our house. Since the temperatures are just under 100 degress playing in the water is a great way to cool off during the day. Sean liked to splash around at his leisure but when he got caught in the orange "car wash" hoops he was not as happy. He just sat in the middle of the mist and screamed until someone went and got him.

At Bass Pro Shop

Sean loved to run (and I mean run) around the Bass Pro Shop. He was able to look at all of the stuffed animals and point to them. Of course he was screeching in his loud voice to show how excited he was. He had a great time riding the mini kid quad and playing in the bar-b-que area with the grills. His favorite part was riding up and down the elevator and seeing all of the fish swimming around in the big tanks they have. Since Sean loves to point to birds, the stuffed birds hanging from the ceiling were a treat. We tried to get some pictures with the raccoon hat but Sean would not keep it on for more than a second. He would throw it on the ground and start to run away.

Putting Our Little One to Work

Dave has taught Sean how to do some of the chores that were supposed to do around our house. Sean is a quick learner and was able to vacuum all the tile in the house while his dad watched sports on t.v. What is Dave going to teach Sean to do next...scrub the toilets?

Sometimes We Are Not Happy

When Sean gets stuck or does not get something
he wants he starts to show his true colors. The terrible twos are starting a bit early for this little one. Sean does not like it when you try to walk with him and hold his hand. He tries to bite your hand and lets his legs go limp. Here he is stuck in his blue hippo and can't get out. But doesn't he look cute trying to get a little attention?

Around the Yard

Sean wanted to run around our front yard and play in the grass. He loves to run down the sidewalk as you chase after him. I had a hard time getting pictures because he was moving so fast.
